For the holidays my Husband and I spent almost two weeks with my sister in MA. We even took a trip to NH to see my family’s old house and got to spend time with other family and friends. Spending the holidays with those I love always reminds me of why I am a consultant for Heritage Makers. Capturing memories and documenting them with great products is something I am truly passionate about. This holiday, I felt fortunate that all of my Heritage Makers gifts and Christmas cards turned out well and arrived on time. Being able to give my family and friends high quality personalized gifts is a great feeling. This year I wanted to create a gift for my husband. Since we’ve been married I had yet to create a book of our honeymoon. I made most of it without his knowledge and he was amazed at how well I had put it all together. It gave me great satisfaction to create something so special for him.
My year ended well with a family New Year’s Eve party. Most of my family was together, except for my brother and his family, and we all stayed up to ring in the new year, even the kids. I’m hoping that night is a sign of the year to come and all the wonderful memories we will make.

Yesterday, I flew home from a weekend in Philadelphia, Pa. I was there for the Businessl Conference. This conference opened my eyes to the basics of the company and what I am working for.

The company is an online publishing company that helps people to create a lasting legacy through their storybooks and other products. These books are more than scrapbooks they are the stories and memories that we want to pass on to our families. Storybooks are a way for others to read and experience your life events through your written words and pictures.

Why? There is always a reason one decides to join a group and become a part of their mission and vision. I learned on Friday, I wasn’t focused on my reasons for being a consultant and my aspirations I wanted to accomplish. I thought about it all weekend and finally understand my personal reasons. I want my future children to know about me and my life. I want them to know the way I remember things not just through the pictures I have taken, but the actual events and feelings. The little things are important and I don’t want those to be forgotten.

I’m glad I attended this conference and finally was able to meet all the wonderful women that have a desire, passion, and understanding of what it means to be a part of this company.
